As an Ohio bankruptcy attorney, it is a duty to keep up with the industry and work towards a cohesive team for helping debtors. Having once been on the side of financial hardship I understand firsthand the stress and turmoil it can bring, which is why I do what I do. In order to better serve clients from the Dayton and Cincinnati areas, I sat down with some debt relief counselors to discuss some important debt relief issues.
Giving Back and Guiding
What some people may not know about me is that I’m not only a bankruptcy attorney, but also a certified credit counselor. This is to help me truly benefit debtors through educating them as to all of their debt relief options, even those outside of bankruptcy.
Last week, I sat down at Graceworks to discuss some of the core issues in determining whether bankruptcy is right for a person. We discussed the benefits of chapter 7 and chapter 13 filings, as well as other solutions for debt relief. As a believer that bankruptcy isn’t always the right answer for everyone, I wanted to stress a key component of proper counsel, honesty.
